EXCITING GAME FISHING IN THE
BEAUTIFUL RIBBLE VALLEY

From everyone at Ribblesdale Angling Association welcome to our website.

We pride ourselves on being a very friendly club.

We are principally a fly fishing club offering a wide choice of fishing mainly on the Ribble, Hodder and Calder across the Ribble catchment plus the opportunity to fish our exchange waters further afield together with a couple of local Stillwater Fisheries.

Our members fish for salmon and sea trout plus we have some of the best wild brown trout and grayling fishing in the northwest. Coarse fishing is also available on specific beats and times of the year.

This website provides further information on our various waters and members can access strategically sited webcams to check on river conditions. We have a FAQ section designed to answer a range of questions. However if you need any further help or information please get in touch via the Contacts section.

Applying for membership couldn’t be easier – just click on the link on the right to apply.

Ribblesdale Angling Association Membership

We offer our members more fishing opportunities than probably any other club in this area and the annual subscription is kept to a minimum and may be paid by monthly instalments but the joining fee has to be paid in full. At our AGM in early December the Association’s awards are presented for Best Salmon on Fly, Best Sea Trout, Best River Trout, Best Reservoir Trout and also a shield for the Meritorious Catch of the Season.

Additional benefits with Ribblesdale Angling Association:
Concessionary rates at local Stillwaters
Rod Exchange arrangements with other local clubs
Access to the web cams for up to date river heights
Membership of the Ribble Fisheries Consultative
We support the Hodder Consultative and Angling Trust
